Arrow Capital is excited to announce that it will be partnering with Berkeley’s Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology (SCET) for their Collider Cup III by offering final round interviews to the top three performing teams at the showcase.
The Collider Cup, held on Dec. 7, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Jacobs Hall, is a showcase demo-day hosted by SCET. It will feature the best student venture projects conceptualized this semester at Berkeley from a diverse range of industries, including sports technology, plant-based meat, blockchain, and data analytics. Over 900 students, ranging from undergraduates to PhDs and from various academic backgrounds, participated in SCET courses this semester working in lean startup teams to solve the most pressing issues in these industries. The leading teams from each course will compete at Collider Cup III presenting in front of professionals, faculty, and investors.
The top three teams at the Collider Cup will receive an automatic final round meeting with Arrow Capital to discuss potential funding of $15,000 to $50,000 in their venture projects. Through potentially funding one of the winning teams, Arrow seeks to empower student entrepreneurs to continue and pursue their projects out of the classroom and take the leap to build a business out of their idea.
Arrow Capital will be at the Collider Cup III for the duration of the event. The event will also include a lunch and networking session. Feel free to stop by to meet the team!
